My client is actively looking for a Business Analyst for a long-term daily rate contract.
Remote/Hybrid working options available.
Responsibilities:
* Cost Benefit Analysis – Ability to identify and measure all costs and benefits associated with a project and document clear Cost Benefit analysis.
* Create a clear and concise business case detailing the options considered, CBA data, impact & risk analysis, and conclusions.
* Elicit Requirements using a variety of methodologies including interviews, data analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business process analysis, and workflow analysis.
* Lead workshops to drive the scope, identify, agree, and prioritise business requirements.
* Create clear, concise, and comprehensive requirements documentation (product requirement, functional requirement, etc.).
* Requirements Sign off – Co-ordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives/stakeholders that overall requirements and defined processes accurately portray specific business needs.
* Participate in RFI, RFP Tender processes and provide oversight of the evaluation criteria.
* Understand software development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and cycles. Experience with Agile methodology writing user stories, participating in scrum meetings, and prioritising the project backlog.
* Conduct hands-on analysis of client requirements, business processes improvements, and solution priorities for projects of varying complexity.
* Participate in the test preparation and test execution steps with the business and development teams to ensure that the products delivered meet the defined business requirements.
* Work with all stakeholders to help drive prioritisation across multiple business areas.
Skills and Experience Required:
* 3+ years Business Analysis experience. Experience in the Aviation/Airport Industry would be extremely beneficial.
* Ability to clearly document client business processes & requirements, particularly writing detailed specification documents for use by internal and external development and test teams.
* Drive proactive engagement with key stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to employ business knowledge to design, validate, and implement IT solutions.
* Capture, consolidate, and communicate all information from the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to the rest of the team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills as a self-starter in a team environment; highly motivated to exploit opportunities by leveraging internal and external partners.
* Ability to engage as a lead analyst in more than one project in parallel.
* Ability to adapt to a very dynamic business environment with multiple competing priorities.
