Job Specification:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and driven Account Handler to join our Personal Lines department and would love to hear from candidates who wish to further develop their career with us!
What you will do:
1. Undertake market research and issue competitive and tailored insurance quotations to new and existing customers, for personal cars, vans, and homes.
2. Ensure all documentation is in place and payment processed.
3. Provide day to day support and servicing to clients on their insurance needs e.g., issuing renewals including market comparisons, finalising insurance placements, and updating policy schedules.
4. Manage ad hoc client requests as they arise including queries on their policies, applying mid-term adjustments, claims reporting etc.
5. Stay up to date on insurer products/rates and competitor activity in the marketplace.
6. Maintain good file management and documentation to ensure compliance with all legal requirements, Central Bank codes and Brown & Brown procedures and business ethics.
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
1. APA or CIP qualified.
2. c. 3 years’ experience working in a similar role.
3. Excellent customer service and organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
4. Client management experience.
5. Previous experience working in general insurance broking or in an insurance company is an advantage.
6. Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
7. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
9. Strong IT skills with previous experience of Relay being desirable but not essential.
10. Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
