Cpl Recruitment seeks a HR Executive for a permanent, full-time position in Ballincollig, Cork. Reporting to the General Manager and Group Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will oversee daily HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage HR department operations
* Promote employee engagement through clear communication and team management
* Respond to employee queries in a timely manner
* Support Heads of Department with recruitment, training, performance management, and team development
* Oversee recruitment, including advertising, screening, and onboarding
* Ensure new employees have necessary documents and training for a smooth onboarding experience
* Maintain up-to-date employee files and aim for a paperless HR system
* Ensure compliance with training requirements and arrange refresher training
* Coordinate training sessions as needed
* Advise on disciplinary processes and handle employee grievances, consulting the Group HR Manager when required
* Submit weekly payroll to the payroll department
* Assist with delivery of group-wide HR projects in the hotel
* Maintain positive communication with Heads of Department and management
* Monitor and manage employee absenteeism
Requirements:
* HQ in Human Resources Management or currently studying towards one
* At least 3 years of experience working in an HR role or HR department
* Good understanding of Irish employment law and best practices
* Strong attention to detail
* Great interpersonal and organisational skills
* High emotional intelligence
* Strong leadership and conflict management skills
* Ability to stay organised and manage multiple projects at once
