The Role:
We are seeking applications for the position of Aircraft Engineer at our Head Office, Hangar 5, Dublin Airport.
* Ensure all scheduled line maintenance as instructed by supervisors or the Airworthiness Control Engineer (ACE) work scope is completed.
* Meet operators flights and ensure work orders are dealt with in a timely manner.
* Certify work only for which you hold current PAC authorisation.
* Verify spares eligibility and compliance before installation.
* Order spares for open HILS using AMOS.
* Liaise with Shift Supervisor or ACE throughout the shift to minimize delays.
* Complete engineering documents and labels, and inform ACE of arising defects.
* Review relevant Notices.
* Complete maintenance in accordance with approved material.
* Familiarize yourself with manufacturer data.
* Wear required personal protective equipment and notify supervisor if unavailable.
* Comply with health and safety warnings specified in maintenance manuals.
* E nsure tooling required for tasks is correct PN and calibration is in date.
* Consult defects database on re-occurrence of defects for research purposes.
* Maintain working areas, break area, and maintenance vehicles in clean and tidy condition.
* Return tooling to stores at end of shift and update AMOS to reflect location.
* Ensure ground equipment is secure and refuelled prior to end of shift.
* Aware of cold weather procedure and implement when required.
* Aware of local high winds procedure and put it in place when required.
* Inform LMM if engineer is not carrying out duties as requested.
* Complete station delay reports within Event Tracking before end of day.
About You:
* Hold a valid EASA Part 66 B1.1 / B2 licence.
* License endorsed with ATR 72-212A (-600) Type rating - Additional Types are a plus.
* Demonstrate recency of 6 month's experience in the last two consecutive years on the ATR 72-212A - 600 aircraft.
* Be well organised with very good attention to detail.
* Be comfortable working to strict deadlines on multiple tasks and projects as part of a team.
* Take responsibility for tasks and see them through to fruition.
* Be a reliable, hardworking and honest individual committed to teamwork and excellence.
* Display flexibility and ability to think outside the box.
Salary:
$70,000 - $90,000 per year
