Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and manage suppliers and vendors to ensure compliance with company standards.
* Maintain pricing agreements with suppliers.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchases to maintain optimal stock levels.
* Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supply chain disruptions.
* Collaborate with the internal Sales department to understand purchasing needs and align procurement processes accordingly.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
Requirements
* Supply Chain Management or Business Administration degree.
* Proven experience as a Stock Controller/Planner or similar role.
* Knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and inventory control.
* Proficiency in SAGE, Excel, and Word.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and organizational abilities.
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Familiarity with industry-specific products and materials is an advantage.
