The primary role of the Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I - Registration Candidate is to acquire the necessary registrations and training to become a Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) Stage I.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide end-to-end comprehensive advice and customized solutions to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals;
* Conduct client reviews/presentations, including a review of investment goals and recommended products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, banking, and managed money solutions;
* Engage and share value proposition with customers in the lobby;
* Triage client leads and make referrals to appropriate internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds;
* Participate in ongoing training and interaction with the Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Complex;
* Communicate effectively;
* Strong computer skills with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment;
* Ability to adapt and seek solutions for clients in a fast-paced environment.
This role serves as a bridge between banking and brokerage, requiring a general awareness of core banking and investment solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Series 7 & 66 must be obtained within 120 days; Series 7 and Series 66 (63 & 65 accepted in lieu of 66, if previously held) is required for FSA Stage I role.
* Demonstrates willingness to complete required industry licensing;
This position requires SAFE Act registration and submission to the required background check and registration process. Failure to obtain and/or maintain SAFE Act registration may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
