A leading Distribution company who have brands in all major Retailers across Ireland is looking for a National Accounts Manager to manage a Team of Field Sales Managers. This includes driving sales growth, boosting brand visibility across multiple channels, and developing and executing strategies that support these goals. This role offers the hybrid model with 3 days in the office in Dublin and 2 days working from home.
About Your National Account Manager job
Key Responsibilities
* Lead regular review meetings with internal stakeholders to assess progress and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Conduct senior management reviews of account performance to ensure objectives are being met.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to design and implement trade campaigns that are realistic and achievable, considering available resources.
* Contribute to the development of the overall strategy, with a focus on brand positioning, product offering, and pricing.
* Work alongside the Field Sales Mangers to develop and monitor achievable team KPIs, focusing on volume sales, distribution, planograms, equipment, and promotions.
* Regularly review sales performance, market trends, and New Product Introductions to identify areas for growth and improvement.
* Provide ongoing training and development for the Sales team, ensuring it remains relevant to current business needs.
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery, adapting to market changes and new challenges.
* Maintain a strong understanding of the account’s budget, enabling informed decision-making and supporting effective budget management.
What Skills You Need for this National Sales Manager
* Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
* Direct experience working for an FMCG brand.
* Strong experience in managing teams, with a track record of delivering results through people.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
* Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Familiarity with project management tools and software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all organisational levels.
What’s on Offer
This Job comes with a salary of €55-60k along with a Bonus of 20%. Also, a daily lunch allowance, company car, fuel card, mobile phone and laptop.
