Job Title:
Surgical Territory Account Manager for the Urology & Gynaecology Division
Overview:
The Surgical Territory Account Manager will promote a range of surgical devices to key opinion leaders and large hospital groups across the Dublin/Leinster territory, with opportunities to expand into other regions.
Responsibilities:
1. Nurture existing customer relationships and support their clinical requirements.
2. Gain a deep understanding of the clinical field and become a urology and gynaecology product expert.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Support existing customers in their clinical requirements.
* Become a product expert in urology and gynaecology.
Secondary Responsibilities:
* Grow and manage clinical relationships on territory.
* Promote company products and solutions in-theatre.
* Educate and demonstrate specific products being sold.
* Achieve pre-agreed targets and market share in both key account management and new business sales environments.
* Attend exhibitions and clinical meetings as required.
* Acquire, maintain, and keep up-to-date knowledge of the territory, including information on current customers, business potential, purchasing protocols, competitor activity, and market trends.
* Report monthly on sales activity, business prospects, and competitor activity, and quarterly on sales performance, territory business plan, and market trends.
* Manage company assets within the territory, loan, and consignment inventory, to ensure a profitable return on investment.
* Follow up on all sales leads, customer inquiries, and requests for assistance to ensure sales opportunities are maximized and the customer is provided with a first-class service.
* Liaise with colleagues from other parts of our clients' business to ensure cross-business opportunities within the territory are maximized.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in surgical devices sales with positive pre-existing surgeon relationships (preferably within urology & gynaecology surgical devices).
* Candidates must hold a third-level qualification (minimum: NFQ Level 8, Honours Bachelor Degree).
* Ability to articulate highly technical information to a diverse audience of medical professionals, especially at consultant level.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, displaying initiative, dependability, and a high level of motivation.
* Highly credible with strong influencing skills and the ability to build effective, collaborative relationships.
* Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask under time constraints.
* Ability to effectively present information in an accessible way.
* Skills that enable collaboration and communication, including excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office – Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Full driving license.
