Responsibilities:
1. Provide supply chain leadership and serve as a CSS Supply Chain voice in the business unit LT with accountability for building a coordinated strategy while overseeing all functions including Planning, Product Management, Internal and External Manufacturing, Engineering.
2. Accountable for the metrics and KPIs, focusing on Reliability, Innovation, Profitability, and Cashflow metrics. Set performance targets for both Internal and External Manufacturing Ops to meet GOC & Enterprise goals.
3. Establish processes to run and balance the Supply Chain Portfolio of projects supporting all areas of performance improvement including Reliability, Capacity, NPI, Profitability, Compliance, and SC Digitalization.
4. Develop and implement a Network Optimization strategy to rationalize the facility footprint and improve efficiencies.
5. Engage the workforce with a clear and compelling vision emphasizing a “one global team” passionate about the customer.
6. Balance and drive continuous improvement in Cost, Customer Service & Product Quality while ensuring minimal compliance risk.
7. Manage capital investments to support Growth and deliver Capital efficiency.
8. Drive continuous cost improvement in Gross Profit and COGS aligned to Business Strategic Plan.
9. Align the strategic vision for the business and communicate/deploy Supply Chain Strategies to enable business growth.
10. Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
11. Drive strong collaboration with the R&D team to ensure successful product launches while driving Design-to-Value programs.
Qualifications:
Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, sciences, or supply chain fields.
2. 10+ years in general management/people management roles across multiple business units or sectors.
3. 15+ years of leading large, multi-site, global organizations, with end-to-end supply chain experience.
4. Operations proficiencies inclusive of product innovation, planning, customer & logistics services, and manufacturing.
5. Experience with the global demands of the role, specifically: multi-cultural/multi-country locations and applicable local labor law, healthcare regulatory requirements, tax law, and logistics.
6. Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
Preferred:
1. Graduate degree in science, business, engineering, finance, or organizational management.
2. Direct experience in multiple Medical Devices and Diagnostics companies.
3. Strong understanding of the new product introduction process.
4. Understanding of financial processes such as P&L calculation and COGS.
5. Exposure to a global environment in previous roles leading supply chain.
6. Direct partnership experience with Commercial Trauma, R&D, Executive Leadership, and Make teams.
7. External manufacturing supplier management.
