Job Description Maintenance Project Manager Traditional Meat Company (TMC) is a beef processing company with decades of experience in the processing and export of quality beef to niche high-end markets across Europe with integrated slaughter and deboning facilities in Oldcastle, Co Meath.
This focus on quality is achieved by attention to detail and professionalism in the procurement, slaughter, chilling, boning and logistics processes.
Due to the rapid expansion of our operations, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Project Manager.
Key Deliverables: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of multiple projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Management of a small team of mechanics and fitters and ensuring staff are allocated to meet company requirements.
Co-ordination of all works with Maintenance Team and SMT.
Run regular tests on key machinery to ensure that any potential problems are diagnosed and dealt with to effectively reduce production downtime.
Maintain and manage reports pertaining to the repair and maintenance of all machinery.
This is crucial information to understand when machines need to be replaced or upgraded.
Creation and management of preventative maintenance plan across the entire plant.
Management of preventative maintenance kit to always ensure that the company has a sufficient stock of spare parts for key plant and machinery.
Monitoring and recording of spare parts use.
Arranging for regular calibration of machinery to ensure efficient running.
Installation and integration of new machinery into the production process.
Be active in identification, quantification, implementation, and presentation of equipment continuous improvement projects.
Work with Senior Management Team to ensure best Health & Safety practice across the organisation Provide relevant training to other team members if required.
Work with the Senior Management Team and external contractors on large capital expenditure projects.
The ideal candidate will have or demonstrate Proven working experience in project management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Project Management Professional certification is a plus Experience in industry is a must with food industry back-ground a distinct advantage.
Must have previous experience of managing teams.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Safe pass & manual handling.
Forklift licence an advantage.
Good knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
Excellent verbal, written communication and influencing skills.
Good organisational skills/ability to work on own initiative.
