About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance/Facilities Manager to join our team in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath.
This is a contract position initially and will involve managing the maintenance department to deliver high-quality services at a cost-effective price.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing contracts, facilities, health & safety, and equipment in accordance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams for IT development
* Manage building performance and maintenance of mechanical & electrical services
* Participate in new development projects
* Create annual plans for buildings and maintenance
* Ensure contracts work in line with H&S policies/procedures & construction regulations
* Chair meetings and committees
* Prepare reports, estimates, specifications & drawings
* Carry out Risk Assessments, audits & fire safety
* Develop budgetary plans for infrastructural works
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in IT, Electrical/Mechanical trade or Engineering/Surveying/Facilities/Chartered Surveyors
* At least 7 years of experience in mechanical/electrical/engineering management of large buildings
* Experience in operational budget management
* Management of multidisciplinary trades & technical teams
* Implementation of Planned Maintenance programmes
* Experience working with building service systems, technologies i.e. UPS units, AHU's, water treatment systems
* Valid Safe Pass or equivalent qualification
