Group Quality Manager
The Group Quality Manager is a key member of the Management Team responsible for coordinating, planning, implementing, and maintaining the company's Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015).
This role ensures that business products meet expected specifications and performance, thereby guaranteeing customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
* Ensure maintenance of certifications to Quality Management System ISO 9001:2015 and Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2015 certification bodies.
* Apply and follow Quality and Environmental procedures consistently throughout the group.
* Manage and coordinate external audits.
* Maintain an incoming goods inspection system and receiving COCs/COAs from suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained.
* Develop, maintain, and circulate relevant documentation (product specifications, DoPs, etc.) internally and externally to customers and stakeholders.
* Implement corrective action plans to prevent non-conforming products and activities using the CAR and SCAR system.
* Develop and implement a continuous improvement process for all departments with the management team.
* Develop and maintain Product Quality Standards manuals for manufactured products.
* Manage the Document Control System.
* Develop and maintain Technical Data Sheets/specifications for manufactured products.
* Investigate, report, and recommend disposition for customer complaints.
* Attend regular quality and operational meetings across the group in Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
Requirements
1. Third-level qualification in a scientific or technical discipline with a minimum of 8 years related experience, preferably in manufacturing.
2. Strong knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Quality and Environmental Systems.
3. Strong audit experience (internal and external).
4. A keen problem solver with extensive experience in investigations, CAPAs, RCAs, and non-conformances.
5. A continuous improvement mindset.
6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills.
7. Possess a significant level of IT skills.
8. Eligibility to live and work in the EU, fluent English (written and spoken).
