ICT Risk Assessment Officer Job Description
Our public sector client is seeking an ICT Risk Assessment Officer to assist with reviewing, analyzing and risk assessing new IT systems. The successful candidate will also respond to queries related to IT systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support ICT Risk Assessment in related projects/initiatives, producing various pieces of work as required.
* Support the day-to-day management of requests for information in relation to ICT Risk Assessment.
* Assist the Risk Assessment Team Leader to provide advice and practical assistance on ICT security risks and appropriate risk mitigation and implementation of control measures.
* Respond to routine enquiries from staff regarding access to information, policies and procedures.
* Undertake initial fact finding/ risk assessments of ICT Risk Assessment related incidents and enquiries on behalf of the ICT Risk Assessment Team Leader/ ICT Security, Governance and Business Manager.
Requirements:
* General understanding of IT Systems, Cloud and Security Technology.
* Firm understanding of risk assessment principles.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Experience in a Security/Governance/Risk Assessment role.
* Experience of risk assessment.
* Flexible and adaptable.
* Able to take on a variety of work.
