Contracts and Procurement Manager - Dublin
The Contracts and Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing planned and cyclical maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with National and European Public Procurement Requirements. The role includes managing capital projects, annual stock condition surveys, significant repairs, technical documentation, and team training. The manager will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective property services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and support the Services team, managing performance, training, and development.
2. Oversee and monitor planned and cyclical maintenance programs, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective delivery.
3. Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and internal policies.
4. Manage procurement processes, including tendering and contractor appointments.
5. Conduct project management from initiation to completion, including budget management and progress tracking.
6. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
7. Maintain and update technical documents, policies, and procedures.
8. Provide technical advice and support to staff and other departments.
Requirements:
9. Relevant 3rd level qualification in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
10. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar senior or management role.
11. Proven leadership and team management skills.
12. Experience in housing-related technical and construction work.
13. Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and Health & Safety legislation.
14. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
15. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
16. Willingness to travel and work outside normal office hours as needed.
17. Full driving license and use of a car.
