Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities across the plant and utilities, adhering to strict EHS and Quality standards. This role will provide MRO support to production equipment while minimizing downtime events, working in accordance with GDP and cGMP regulations.
Main Responsibilities
* Fault finding and repairs on equipment during unplanned downtime events, coordinating external service engineers as necessary
* Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under control, complying with clients' GDP standards
* Identifying and remediating equipment maintenance issues to maximize uptime
* Maintaining and optimizing use of the client's CMMS system, ensuring timely completion of works
* Assisting subcontractors as required and maintaining accurate records
* Informing business unit leads of equipment issues and liaising with department engineers to resolve problems
* Contributing to 'Cost Reduction Initiatives' and Energy Saving Opportunities across the site
Requirements
* Completion of a time-served apprenticeship (MAMF, Electrical, Fridge, or toolmaking)
* A minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience in manufacturing maintenance
* Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, wiring diagrams, and pneumatic schematics
* Skilled and experienced in mechanical repairs
