Main Purpose of the Role:
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Meat Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times, delivering exceptional quality and products to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain high standards in retail cuts according to customer needs
* Drive sales by adhering to store standards and SOPs daily
* Merchandise and present the department to the highest standard
* Implement planograms correctly
* Control stock rotation to ensure quality and freshness
* Manage waste and shrink in the department
* Enhance product knowledge through continuous improvement and new initiatives
* Engage with new ideas and adapt to evolving ways of working
Key Requirements:
* Craft butchery course desirable
* Numerical skills essential
* Excellent communication skills required
* Previous customer service experience advantageous
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Possession of HACCP training beneficial but not essential
