The Project Co-ordinator and translator will assist with all aspects of the project development, liaising with both Irish and Brazilian teams to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess business fluency in Portuguese and will take on the role of translator, playing a critical role in translating and facilitating communications between English-speaking and Portuguese-speaking parties.
Key Responsibilities
* Translator and Communication: Act as a business translator, facilitating communication between English and Portuguese-speaking parties in meetings, documents, and correspondence. Translate documents, contracts, reports, and presentations as needed.
* Strategic Planning: Work with the local team to plan for the project in alignment with our global objectives.
* Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify other opportunities and risks in the Brazilian market.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including local partners, government agencies, and community organizations.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local laws and regulations, including financial reporting and tax obligations.
* Team Leadership: Work with a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
* Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on project status and strategic milestones to senior management.
