The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide legal advice to the County Council on local government law
* Conduct property-based conveyancing services
* Enforce regulatory codes
* Provide advocacy services
* Offer general advisory services
Requirements:
* Admission and enrolment as a Solicitor in the State
* At least three years satisfactory experience as a Solicitor, including adequate experience of conveyancing and court work
* High standard of professional training and experience
* Excellent professional knowledge and skills
* Knowledge of legislation governing local authorities and statutory bodies
* Understanding of public service organisation
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* Good organisational and IT skills
