PMO Excellence Client Solutions & Market Lead – Senior Manager / Director
Location: Dublin
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking a skilled Senior Manager or Director to join a leading Risk Consulting team specializing in PMO Excellence and Project Assurance Management. This role offers the opportunity to work with large-scale transformation programmes and deliver impactful solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and provide expert guidance in PMO processes.
2. Lead presentations and proposals for complex projects, bringing valuable subject matter expertise.
3. Manage project prioritisation, financial reporting, resource planning, and decision-making.
4. Ensure adherence to project management standards and portfolio governance across multiple projects.
5. Support Project Leads in delivering projects on time, within scope, and with required resources.
6. Continuously improve PMO processes, tools, and templates, leveraging industry best practices.
7. Provide leadership and motivation to project teams throughout project lifecycles.
8. Oversee risk, issue, and stakeholder management to ensure project success.
Internal Responsibilities:
1. Lead client engagements, including recruitment and financial management.
2. Contribute to the development and growth of the PMO Excellence service offering.
3. Support business development and generate new client opportunities.
4. Mentor and coach team members to foster growth and performance improvement.
5. Assist in people development, including recruitment, training, and retention initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. 10+ years of experience in management consulting or a similar advisory role.
2. 15+ years of experience in Project Management / PMO.
3. Proven track record of managing complex stakeholder programmes.
4. Strong understanding of project governance, change management, and portfolio management.
5. Professional qualifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP are desirable.
