The role will also be involved in working closely with supply chain, partners, subcontractors and internal teams (engineering, proposals, contracts, procurement etc.) to ensure that competitive tenders are delivered successfully and on a timely basis. Duties of the Role include; Lead and manage a portfolio of proposalsLead and manage a team of engineers involved in developing costs & solutionsOwnership of commercial and technical aspect of the proposals processCollaborative interaction with the clients to develop cost modelsPlaying an integral part in the design and engineering development processCollaborative interaction with delivery team to ensure lessons learned are applied and peer reviews are carried out in a timely mannerCollaborative interaction and management of supply partners and supply chain during target cost development phaseDeveloping accurate and competitive target costsEvaluation and selection of suitable partners, technologies, equipment and vendors including sourcing alternative vendors Ensuring that all risks are clearly identified and that costs and responsibilities are clearly apportioned and documented and agree Program of works with partnersAdhere to all internal Governance proceduresRequired skills for this role; Accredited NFQ Level 8 Honours Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline5+ years relevant post qualification experience in the tender or execution of water/wastewater engineering projects.
