TD Securities Technology Controls Office (TCO) Specialist
Job Summary:
A TCO Europe Specialist is required to work closely with both the local and international technology and governance teams to design and implement controls to minimise the risk exposure of TD Securities (TDS) Europe. They also complete control gap remediation alongside the relevant global teams to ensure the remediation is in alignment with enterprise practices and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide risk management guidance to TDS Europe Technology teams on IT risks, threats, gaps, controls and regulatory requirements.
- Participate actively in the risk and control processes e.g. risk assessment, control self-assessment, application security review.
- Review existing and proposed technology practices to minimise risk exposure.
- Assist TDS Europe technology (or business if required) in meeting applicable control and regulatory requirements e.g. SOX Control testing, ICAAP submissions, regulatory requests.
- Assist in developing remediation plans for identified gaps and coordinating remediation efforts with risk owners.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of local and regional technology related regulations and industry practices and liaise with internal standard setting bodies on upcoming changes.
- Coordinate and prepare risk reports to local and/or global management forums as required.
Core IT Risk & Control duties and accountabilities include;
- Providing risk management guidance to TDS Europe Technology teams on IT risks, threats, gaps, controls and regulatory requirements.

Knowledge Sharing / Management
- Promoting the use of knowledge management processes and tools.
- Sharing / leveraging successful products, processes, and best practices across TD Bank Group (TDBG) Technology.
- Driving initiatives to proactively support knowledge sharing within the TDBG Technology organisation, business and corporate leadership teams.
- Contributing to continuous improvement by leveraging quality improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Voice of Customer, etc.).
- Continuously enhancing knowledge/expertise and keeping current with industry trends and certifications.
- Continuously enhancing knowledge of the TD application, systems and infrastructure components that can contribute to effective service delivery.
Must haves – Experience & Knowledge
- Technology Risk & Controls (Ideally in an Investment Bank)
- Technology Risk Reporting
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
- Experience in implementing guidelines, standards, and procedures.

Estimated Salary: €85,000 - €110,000 per annum depending on experience
