Your new role
As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking engineering water and wastewater process design for a variety of projects.
Your role will involve the development of design solutions for clean and wastewater applications, interpreting design data such as jar testing results, and preparing process design calculations specific to water and wastewater design.
You will also be involved in feasibility, outline, and detailed process design work, liaising with clients within the UK and Ireland, and contributing to the delivery of projects to ensure timeframes are met.
Requirements
* Must have degree-level qualification in Chemical Engineering or a similar field.
* Demonstrable experience within the water and/or wastewater engineering sector.
* A minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience and working towards chartership.
Skillset
* Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater process design methods.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Awareness of recent developments in engineering design and research.
Personal Qualities
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Ability to use initiative in problem-solving.
