Job Description As an Electrical Graduate Engineer on a 6-12 month work placement, you will play a pivotal role in our project development and implementation process. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to ensure the successful completion of projects. Your role will include conducting technical assessments, preparing reports, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project milestones are met. Your Responsibilities Will Include: Project Reporting: Report to the Project Manager on project progress, risks, and issues. Supplier Analysis: Analyse supplier information to ensure alignment with design specifications. Design Review: Review and understand schematics, GA plans, and project specifications. System Validation: Conduct design reviews and validate equipment and systems. Documentation: Complete technical submittals, RFIs, equipment registers, and trackers. Scope Analysis: Analyse all design documentation and identify any scope gaps. Quality Review: Review quality on-site by walking down systems to ensure compliance with the project team. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise in the electrical engineering and construction sectors. The successful candidate will be supported in developing their knowledge on a pathway to becoming a Chartered Engineer as their knowledge and responsibilities grow and evolve. Skills and Requirements To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: Qualification: Relevant 3rd Level Electrical Qualification essential. Trade Background: Electrical trade background would be advantageous but not essential. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office is required. Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and planning skills. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
