Job Description
Caseworker required to work between our Turas Nua offices in Kilkenny and Carlow.
Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 (on-site). We are looking for candidates with strong customer service and administration experience.
About Us
Turas Nua delivers intensive employment support services through the IPNES contract, which supports people who are over 12 months unemployed or employed part-time on low earnings.
The IPNES contract is delivered by Turas Nua, an Irish employability services provider, wholly owned by FRS Network, an Irish cooperative social enterprise since 1980.
Purpose of Role
As a caseworker, you will work with clients referred by the Department of Social Protection to IPNES.
You will manage a caseload of clients, coordinating internal support specialists and external organisations to provide a personalised support service.
This includes one-to-one advice and support to guide clients towards employment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage a robust case management plan for each client, working towards sustainable employment.
2. Use industry-leading assessment technology to identify client goals and barriers to employment.
3. Provide coaching and mentoring to clients, including job search support when they are ready.
4. Identify and recommend training solutions to meet client learning needs.
5. Maintain knowledge of the local labour market and achieve contractual performance targets.
Requirements
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
* Minimum three years' experience in a customer-focused environment.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
* Excellent administrative skills and data entry abilities.
* Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and deliver presentations.
* Fluent written and spoken English.
