We're seeking a future team member for the role of Risk and Control Vice President for BNY Mellon Fund Services (Ireland) DAC ("FSI DAC") to join our Legal Entity Office ("LEO") team. This role is located in Dublin, Ireland - Hybrid.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Serving as Governance, Risk, Control and MI Subject Matter Expert for the FSI DAC;
Supporting FSI DAC assessments, including creating the Risk Appetite Statement, Risk Identification, Controls monitoring, AML/Sanctions assessment, and other 1LOD tasks as required;
Evaluating FSI DAC's risk profile and monitoring progress of corrective action plans;
Partnering with 2nd Line Risk and Compliance, and Internal Audit on relevant initiatives;
Coordinating the completion of outstanding Internal Audit and Compliance Monitoring points;
Supporting and reporting to FSI DAC Board, Committees and regional governance forum as required;
Participating in cross-entity initiatives, as required;
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree and relevant' experience within financial services
Risk and control, governance, and/or compliance related experience gained in the 1st or 2nd LOD roles
Good understanding of operational risk, control frameworks and of risk and control environment
Experience with metrics and data analysis, delivery focused, with proven track record of delivering
Ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments, demonstrating ability to work collaborate and lead
Confident, self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail
Takes initiative, accepts challenges, establishes networks and relationships in a complex environment
