We are looking to recruit a Technical Sales Engineer to join our expert instrumentation and control team in our Dublin office.

Were recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer and in this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of driving innovation by promoting our industry-leading Instrumentation, Calibration & Automation products and solutions.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll be the go-to expert for both incoming sales enquiries and proactive outreach to potential clients.
You'll have the freedom to market our full service and product range, build meaningful relationships, and strategically deliver impressive sales growth in line with exciting targets.
Youll also act as a trusted team member, diving deep into client projects, reviewing requirements, and collaborating closely with our in-house experts and suppliers.

How you will do it:
Your role will involve crafting tailored solutions, preparing accurate quotations, and delivering custom proposals that exceed our clients expectations.
You will manage all customer requests and respond in a timely manner, producing quotations, sourcing the correct product, service or system for the application, and ensuring that all activity is followed up appropriately to secure the business.
You will be responsible for generating leads and driving sales performance using direct sales processes and management in our CRM system.
Although mainly office based (90+%), the role will require visits to client sites for face-to-face meetings or presentations as the need arises and attendance at exhibitions.
There will be occasional visits to supplier sales events or training, which maybe outside of Ireland.
You will work closely with our brand suppliers by building our relationship with them and liaison with them about client projects, opportunities and marketing for their brands in Ireland.

PersonStrong Instrumentation, Mechanical, Automation or Control Experience is requiredOrganisedExcellent communicatorFlexible / adaptableDisciplinedSelf Motivated with good presentation skillsCommercially aware and demonstrable success with achieving targets.
* Full driving licence is required for occasional client visits, transport can be provided for this purpose if necessary.
Education & ExperienceExperience in a similar sales role; if not directly Instrumentation, a role where engineering or technical knowledge was required.
