Position Details:
Role: Access Control Coordinator
Location: Cork City
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Role Type: Permanent Onsite
Responsibilities:
* Act as Subject Matter Expert and 'Super User' for access control systems and functionality within the business.
* Manage and maintain access control databases, software, and relevant infrastructure in line with best practice and regulatory requirements. Manage support of access control systems, including resolving problems, process flaws, performing scheduled activities, and recommending solutions to meet requirements.
* Liaise with IT to perform UAT testing for large changes to ensure there is no negative impact on the business.
* Develop, review, and maintain documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process maps for the access control systems and ensure their application in practice.
* Responsible for maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and internal audits.
* Ensure accuracy of data entry, including relevant analysis, reviews, and updating of data across relevant systems.
* Support and enable the deployment of access control systems for the business based on a centralized and standardized approach delivering cost and operational efficiencies in collaboration with internal business partners.
* Support the implementation of access control strategy for commercial and operational sites by enabling and supporting systems maintenance, data management, and opportunities for improvement.
* Adhere to all security requirements for Joiners, Movers, Leavers Process.
* Report on access control KPIs.
* Manage access control and stock levels ensuring minimum levels are maintained.
* Develop and manage relationships with internal stakeholders – IT, HR, Asset Operations, etc. to ensure service provided is of an excellent standard.
* Special project activities and other duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role desirable.
* Third level qualification required.
* Lean Six Sigma certification desired.
* Team Player - Ability to work with others to ensure success in the performance of a team.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* System administration experience desirable.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey messages in a clear and efficient manner.
* Proven effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and remain focused.
* Ability to set own high standards of performance and deliver desired results.
* Flexible with regards to working in a changing environment, processes, and requirements as necessary.
* Proactively identifying new areas of learning and using newly gained knowledge and skills on the job.
