Job Description
As a member of the Core File Services Group (CFSG) at NetApp, you will be part of a team of highly talented people who are experts at industry standard storage protocols, caching, data management and data protection solutions. CFSG contributes to the core technology stack that makes NetApp an industry leader in the NAS business.
The feature-rich protocol stacks combined with anti-ransomware, data security and data availability technologies provide class-leading features and value to our customers. As a result, our technology is used in mission-critical applications across the world. We also provide value to our customers through our integrations with all the major hyperscalers.
Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership for the team(s) they are associated with and participate in key technical decisions.
* Engage with product management on roadmaps and influence architectural choices to ensure the required business outcomes are achieved.
* Engage with customers on escalations and ensure that there is continuous improvement in all areas under their technical purview to deliver maximum value to our customers.
Qualifications
* 12+ years of relevant experience.
* A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
* Excellent coding skills in C/C++ and in-depth understanding of kernel fundamentals.
* A strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and programming practices.
* 5-years of kernel programming experience.
* Experience with Networking and file/cloud protocols.
* In-depth understanding of Embedded systems and File systems.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
