Compliance and Audit Manager

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the post-holder will focus on ensuring compliance with current quality standards; managing the internal and external audit process; ensuring the relevant BS and ISO certification is achieved and maintained; and perform health & safety and environmental monitoring, reporting and risk assessments across multiple Rehab Enterprises sites.
Minimum Education & Skills Required
1. Degree level Health and safety / NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety practice (level 6 UK / Irish level 8) and/or Quality or suitable related disciplines.
2. Membership of a recognised professional health and safety body an advantage e.g. IOSH.
3. Previous experience of working in a manufacturing/production environment, preferably waste or recycling sector.
4. Excellent knowledge of environmental health and safety legislation, regulations, standards and other relevant requirements.
5. Strong leadership and influencing skills, experienced in operating at management levels.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
6. Establish and embed systems and controls across all sites including formulating and developing policies and procedures for existing activities and new acquisitions or processes; and promote a positive health and safety culture in the organisation through the implementation of the Rehab Group Health and Safety Management System.
7. Manage internal and external audit process, report on outcomes of audit and monitor activities and any resulting risks and issues to senior management.
8. Establish and embed a risk assessment framework.
9. Lead out on and provide training on Compliance, Health & Safety and Auditing, upskilling the knowledge and skills in all Enterprise locations.
10. Establish and embed a quality assurance framework that creates and disseminates SOPs and Process Flows for all common work practices undertaken by Rehab Enterprises, in line with quality standards.
