About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Foreman to assist in the construction of a high-rise residential development with an underground car park.
The successful candidate will be one of a team of foremen, responsible for ensuring that all site operations run efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
* Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and site workers to ensure efficient workflow.
* Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
* Monitor project progress, resolve issues as they arise, and report updates to the Project Manager and or Site Manager.
* Ensure quality control measures are met at every stage of construction.
* Interpret construction drawings and specifications, providing guidance where needed.
* Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, safety inspections, and material deliveries.
* Liaise with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
* Manage site logistics, ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed.
* Lead and motivate the site team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Foreman role, preferably in high-rise residential construction.
* Strong knowledge of groundworks, structural steel, concrete, roofing, facade, and finishing trades.
* A proven track record of delivering large-scale projects to a high standard.
* An excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and digital reporting tools.
* A valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and relevant tickets.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A trade qualification or construction-related degree.
* First Aid and CIF Managing Safely in Construction certification.
* Experience working on underground car park construction projects.
