Job Description:
Automation Technician - County Waterford
This role operates on a 4-shift cycle from 7am to 7pm, requiring the successful candidate to work across various shifts.
The Role:
Maintain automation equipment in accordance with health & safety, operational and quality work instructions, procedures and policies to ensure timely production of high-quality products in a safe, efficient and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Follow systematic root cause problem solving and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
* Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance, completing associated paperwork and records as required.
* Lead and implement process improvements to achieve more efficient operations while adhering to change management and cGMP requirements.
* Assist with commissioning new equipment and projects.
* Order and maintain an appropriate stock of spare parts.
* Cross-train technicians as necessary.
* Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.
* E nsure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events and processes.

* Ability to provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
* Adherence to change management procedures and cGMP requirements.
* Good written and oral communication skills.
