The Opportunity
Join a team of passionate technicians and help us revolutionize sustainable building design in a thriving Dublin market. As an MEP Technician at Arup, you will:
* Produce MEP 3D models using Revit and other BIM software, as well as detailed MEP G.A. drawings, plans and sections.
* Set up and maintain discipline BIM models including levels / grids / co-ordinates / views / sheets etc.
* Work alongside MEP Engineers and complete mark-ups.
* Coordinate the design work with in-house staff as well as other design professionals.
* Investigate and develop more efficient ways of working through use of existing tools and automation.
* Support virtual design reviews (drive models / take notes / drive implementation of actions specific to disciplines).
Does this role inspire you?
We're looking for someone who is passionate about sustainable building design. These are the essential skills and qualifications for the position:
* Minimum 4 years of post-qualification in the MEP environment.
* Minimum relevant NFQ level 6 qualifications (Other qualifications considered where 3D modelling skills are of a high standard.)
* Experience in Revit MEP.
We also value:
* Autodesk Certified Qualification in Revit.
* Knowledge and experience using Navisworks, clash detections and construction sequencing.
* Experience in the Irish market.
