Job Title: Marketing and Public Relations Specialist
Overview:
The Construction IT Alliance (CitA) is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Public Relations Specialist to promote our government-funded initiative, Skillnet MMC Accelerate. This 12-month contract role focuses on upskilling professionals in the construction industry through Modern Methods of Construction (MMC).

Key Responsibilities:
* Marketing Strategy Development: Develop and execute marketing strategies that align with project goals and objectives.
* Content Creation: Collaborate with the content researcher to create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, blogs, and the project website.
* Social Media Management: Manage and grow the project's presence on social media platforms by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries.
* Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry partners, and stakeholders. Draft press releases, coordinate interviews, and manage public relations campaigns.
* Event Promotion: Support the promotion of events, including regional roadshows and webinars, through targeted marketing campaigns.
* Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools. Adjust strategies based on data-driven insights to maximize reach and engagement.

Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing or public relations role, preferably within the construction, education, or non-profit sectors.
3. Skills: Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies. Strong writing and content creation skills, with an eye for detail and creativity. Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging content. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, SEO, and social media management platforms. Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva).
