Technical Account Manager
Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) in driving customer success by crafting and executing strategies to drive adoption and use of AWS services.
This role provides an opportunity to be the principal technical advisor and 'voice of the customer' to organizations ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
As a Technical Account Manager, you'll build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customers. You'll ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
You'll develop trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges. Using your technical acumen and customer obsession, you'll drive technical discussions regarding incidents, trade-offs, and risk management.
Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers. With a bias for action, proactively find opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience as a technical account manager, consultant, solutions architect, platform engineer, systems engineer, cloud architect or in a similar role.
* Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
* Bachelor's degree.
* Experience in operational parameters and troubleshooting for two (2) of the following: Compute / Storage / Networking / CDN / Databases / DevOps / Big Data and Analytics / Security / Applications Development in a distributed systems environment/Telecommunications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience in internal enterprise or external customer-facing environment as a technical lead.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools including Continuous Integration / Deployment, Puppet, Docker, Kubernetes, Chef etc.
* Professional oral and written communication skills, presenting to an audience containing one or more decision maker(s).
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
