RECRUITMENT – OFFICE MANAGER
HD McKay continue to grow in line with the strategic plan and now have an opportunity for an Office Manager. HD McKay is a vibrant multi-disciplinary consultancy Practice of Architects, Civil, Structural and Fire Engineers. Some of our senior technical team members have worked on prestigious projects from Formula 1 racetracks, hospitals, educational facilities, multiple residential developments, passive design certified methodology to name a few.
With over 20 years of experience in engineering and construction projects, we provide professional services to Businesses, Corporations, Local Authorities, Public Bodies, Solicitors, and Individuals on a range of Commercial, Industrial and Domestic projects.
We are seeking well-motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join our dynamic team. We have the following position available:
Office Manager
We need individuals who are:
* Self-motivated, driven, successful, with highly developed planning & organisational skills and a flexible attitude.
* Client and quality-focused, continuously improvement-minded with fresh ideas to drive the business forward.
* Can work well in a team environment.
* Focused on the short and long-term profitability and strategic growth of the Company.
* Providing support to the team members across a wide range of Building, Civil, Architectural and Structural Engineering projects including building defect investigations and reporting.
Minimum requirements:
* Bachelor of Arts in Administration
* Have a relevant educational qualification and experience, 3rd level minimum
* Minimum of two years working experience.
* Prior administrative, clerical, financial and secretarial experience with prior experience of supporting a management team at senior level.
Desirable:
* Possess strong IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, Email and Sage.
* Development and maintaining CRM systems.
* Be a highly motivated, and proactive individual.
* Possess excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to organise, complete and assign tasks.
* At all times to be reliable, responsible, and dependable working in a highly professional manner fulfilling all obligations on time.
* Ability to create and maintain accurate/accessible and organised documentation.
* Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and verbally.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team: capable of taking initiative and working efficiently both independently and collaboratively with others.
* Be focused and productive while handling multiple projects, tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
