We currently have an opening on the Supply Demand Management (SDM) Leadership team and are seeking a dynamic manager reporting to the SDM Director. You will be an ambitious self-starter with a strong work ethic, strong leadership skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will have significant interaction with several internal departments including Logistics, Reseller Operations, Retail Fulfilment Operations (RFO) teams, and Demand Forecasting & Analysis (DF&A), as well as our counterparts in Cupertino and other regions.
Description
You will lead all aspects of Supply and Demand Management and be responsible for analyzing Demand and securing Supply to support all of Apple’s Routes to Market in the EMEIA region; Apple’s Online Store, Apple’s Retail Chain, and also Apple’s wider Reseller Channel.
You Will Also:
1. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of highly qualified professionals, including managers.
2. Analyze forecasted demand, inventory, and sell-through to develop and lead weekly and quarterly supply plans. Results should meet Apple’s quarterly financial revenue plans while achieving key order cycle time goals and minimizing finished goods liability.
3. Evaluate risks to the plan and implement contingency plans to mitigate. Analyze product order bookings, backlog, and billings daily. Identify problem areas and drive appropriate functional groups to correct.
4. Raise any issues related to production or country allocation. Own communication of supply available for weekly shipments to sales, finance, logistics, and worldwide SDM.
5. Ensure supply plans support the direct channels (online & retail stores) and channel weekly sell-through while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
6. Coordinate with multiple internal teams to set launch quantities and ensure smooth product transitions to ensure minimal E&O and appropriate inventory balance across countries.
7. Improve product planning processes. Identify improvement opportunities, allocate resources, and drive projects to completion to achieve targeted measurable benefits.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects and business improvement initiatives.
9. Focus critically on the customer experience around supply planning for each of the channels of business (Reseller, Online, and Stores). Specific focus around timely response to partner concerns and taking corrective action on any root causes. Build strong partnerships with RO and RFO to understand the “Voice of the Customer.”

* Demonstrated strong leadership including but not limited to experience managing teams and supply chain processes.

* Operations, Planning, Finance experience in a fast-moving product industry.

* Previous leadership skills including experience managing teams and supply chain processes and systems expertise.
* Previous experience setting direction for process and/or tool improvements to support team objectives.
* Strong analytical capabilities, should have the ability to evaluate, analyze, and present data to the executive level.
