Type of Role: Fulltime Permanent (40 hours per week)
Location: Carlow with travel to other sites
Our client, named National Retailer of the Year by Retail Excellence Ireland, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager who is organized, skilled in developing and implementing sales strategies, has strong leadership abilities to manage a large team across multiple locations, and is passionate about enhancing the customer experience.
Being a part of the senior management team and reporting directly to the CEO, this position plays a pivotal role in driving growth and success by delivering an exceptional in-store and online experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to annual budgeting and manage areas within the P&L.
2. Implement pricing policies, sales promotions, and oversee loss prevention.
3. Ensure consistent adherence to brand standards and store policies.
4. Oversee staff deployment, building maintenance, and facility management.
5. Enhance customer experience through events and loyalty programs.
6. Collaborate with Warehouse, EPOS, Finance, and Marketing teams.
7. Lead, coach, and develop managers, supporting recruitment and training.
8. Monitor sales performance, margins, and stock turnover.
9. Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant store environment.
Key Tasks:
1. Report quarterly on commercial performance and action plans.
2. Maintain optimal staffing for customer service and operational budgets.
3. Analyze KPIs with managers and drive performance improvements.
4. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment.
5. Provide weekly performance updates to Directors.
