About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a mechanical bias to lead our clients' Power Stations team, focused on generating electricity across a diverse portfolio of station assets.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership, effective communication, and the ability to relate to staff at all levels, ensuring seamless collaboration within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and execute maintenance and outages on Combined Cycle and Open Cycle Gas Turbine plants, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
* Develop and implement contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure business continuity.
* Manage contracts and project documentation, maintaining accuracy and compliance with relevant standards.
* Oversee routine maintenance and unplanned outages, prioritizing safety and environmental considerations.
* Ensure adherence to technical standards, driving excellence in power generation.
* Coordinate daily maintenance activities and site-specific projects, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
* Develop and manage maintenance management systems, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Prepare comprehensive reports and business reviews, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
Requirements
* Essential: Proven experience in a Power Plant or similar industry, coupled with a strong mechanical engineering background.
