Job Title: Multisite Facilities Manager
Location: Monaghan, Ireland
The Facility Manager reports to the contract manager and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility management across two client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Continued operation of site facilities, encompassing buildings, plant equipment, hard services, and soft services.
* Management of routine preventative maintenance, testing, and inspection schedules to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Maintenance of operational procedures, preventive maintenance plans, business continuity plans, and emergency plans for buildings and utilities.
* Preparation of documents for requests for tenders and management of tender processes.
* Comparison of costs for required goods or services and delivery of value for money.
* Project management, coordination, and supervision of third-party contractors, including checking agreed work completion and addressing deficiencies.
* Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and comply with relevant legislation.
* Assistance to local site facilities coordinators in directing, coordinating, and planning essential central services.
* Operation of a Building Management System and related functions.
* Assistance in planning best allocation and utilization of space, resources, and reorganization of premises.
* Response to emergencies or urgent issues and dealing with consequences.
* Support for local Green Teams/Energy Officers in achieving building environmental management objectives.
* Attendance at local Building Management Committee meetings and addressing actions arising.
* Support for local Safety Management Team in building management-related matters.
Person Specification:
1. Experience in facilities management or building services industry/consultancy.
2. Expertise or familiarity with M&E, HVAC, and refrigerated equipment.
3. Familiarity with Building Management Systems.
4. Experience in project management and overseeing external contractor work.
5. Dynamic approach to achieving continuous improvement.
6. Experience in building environmental/energy efficiency.
7. Excellent listening, oral, written, and presentation skills.
8. Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
9. Strong IT skills, including MS Office applications and relevant facility management software.
