Description of Role/Position
Be capable of performing materials management operational tasks in accordance with current standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Educational Qualifications/ Experience Required
* Leaving certificate as a minimum or equivalent
* Proficient in English
* Having a relevant industry or Logistics/Supply Chain qualification
Additional Skills/ Preferences
* Experience in Biopharmaceutical or Medical Device manufacturing environments.
* Experience with computer systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
* Familiarity with Operational Excellence tools and techniques.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) in a highly regulated environment.
* Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, safety, and environmental compliance in all warehouse areas in accordance with procedures.
* Receive raw materials and GMP consumables both physically and electronically into inventory.
* Manage inventory receipts, movements, and dispensing on SAP and MES systems.
* Sample raw materials in a controlled environment.
* Accurately dispense raw materials in line with production schedules in a timely manner.
* Kitting of consumable materials for Production Operations.
* Actively participate in warehouse quality and safety audits, and air cargo security audit readiness.
* Receipt and storage of final drug substance materials in fridges and freezers.
* Select and prepare material to be shipped to meet the shipping schedule.
* Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and shipping compliance.
Additional Requirements/ Information
* Experience in Biopharmaceutical or Medical Device manufacturing environments.
* Experience with computer systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
* Familiarity with Operational Excellence tools and techniques.
* In accordance with EU Commission Regulation No 185/2010 Chapter 11 (6.4.2.1), personnel handling air cargo are required to agree to a screening process detailing any criminal history during at least the preceding 5 years.
