Intermediate/Project QS | Cost Consultancy
We are seeking a skilled Intermediate/Project Quantity Surveyor to provide comprehensive cost management services on various construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members, clients, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Cost Management Services:
* Prepare accurate cost estimates, feasibility studies, and initial budget proposals for clients.
* Develop detailed cost plans and bills of quantities using industry-standard software.
* Evaluate tenders, analyze bids, and prepare recommendations for contractor selection.
Project Monitoring & Control:
* Monitor project costs, identify potential cost overruns, and manage change control procedures.
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with the agreed scope and budget.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Communicate clearly and professionally, providing updates on project cost status and addressing client queries.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably within a cost consultancy environment.
* Progress towards professional qualification (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is essential.
