The role offers a mix of in-person and hybrid working options, and we are looking for someone who can achieve outstanding results within our team. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day social media and content strategy and ensure it is executed clearly and concisely. They will have the autonomy to create engaging content across social media channels and publish blogs and SEO-focused content to drive awareness and traffic to our site and stores. They will need to work independently to find opportunities in the market and within our current campaigns and not be afraid to challenge performance.

Role overview:
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
1. Autonomy for delivering, reporting, and providing actionable insight on social media marketing performance throughout the business on a consistent basis. Serve as the primary point of contact for executing the social media promotional calendar.
2. Developing, implementing, and tracking the performance of an editorial content strategy and roadmap for Currys. The content strategy must develop and enhance the brand's reputation as a thought leader in Electrical and Technology.
3. Researching, planning, and executing social media strategies to drive awareness of the business's key marketing and commercial messages. Work closely with external agencies, marketing, CRM, e-commerce, and commercial teams to optimize campaigns.
4. Managing the channel marketing budget and expenses, analyzing and reporting progress against campaign goals. Track market and channel trends while preparing to adjust channel strategies when necessary.
5. Establishing goals and clearly defining measures of success to measure the quality of content, audience growth, engagement, content reach, traffic growth to the website; visitors, conversion, sales, ROAS, views, comments, CTR (Social), visits, backlinks, conversion, page views, dwell time, SEO ranking (Blog/Content).
6. Collaborating closely with the marketing team to enhance consumer engagement with the content via PR, social media, and other marketing channels.
7. Setting strict editorial guidelines on tone of voice and quality of content.
8. Ensuring the content plan is efficiently managed and the output achieved meets agreed deadlines.
You will need:
1. Experience devising social media strategies and campaigns across multiple platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, Snapchat, and WhatsApp.
2. Experience in product content creation and a passion for continuous development and improvement.
3. To be able to demonstrate creativity and content that engages audiences, be up to date with best practices and brings external perspective to best-in-class communication.
4. Ability to seamlessly link content with overall business goals & objectives.
5. At least 2 years’ experience in an eCommerce content function.
6. HTML/CSS skills are required. Photoshop is a plus.
7. Familiarity with SEO best practices and the ability to track and report.
