Commercial & Contracts Manager
CREGG are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial & Contracts Manager to join our client within the construction and furniture sector, on a hybrid basis between their Roscommon and Galway offices. This is a full-time permanent position, and the successful candidate will join the senior leadership team. The Commercial & Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing commercial projects from inception to completion, overseeing contract negotiations, and ensuring financial and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain relationships with builders and developers to generate commercial leads.
* Secure opportunities for the company to price and bid on projects.
* Oversee and manage commercial projects from pricing and scheduling to manufacturing and installation.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for site foremen and quantity surveyors.
* Lead negotiations and oversee contracts, ensuring optimal terms and business outcomes.
* Establish and track sales targets, ensuring performance aligns with business objectives.
* Review and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency and drive growth.
* Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, representing the company at key events.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the construction, furniture, or manufacturing industries.
* Strong commercial acumen with a background in accounting or quantity surveying (preferred).
* Proficient in business development, contract negotiation, and project management.
* Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* A strategic mindset, capable of identifying opportunities and implementing innovative approaches.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Competent in using relevant software and business tools.
