Site Manager – Wexford – Various Projects Our client is a €500m turnover, multi-disciplined main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe.
They undertake large turnkey projects for blue-chip clientele, in Europe the focus is on Data Centres and similar tech-focussed projects.
In Ireland they operate as more of a generalist main contractor working across a variety of industry sectors including healthcare / hospitals, residential, education and industrial Due to a recent project win, our client is now seeking a Site Manager in Wexford.
Responsibilities * Project Scheduling and Coordination: The site manager is responsible for developing and maintaining project timelines across all types of projects (commercial, residential, pharmaceutical).
They ensure work is progressing as scheduled, managing different trades (construction teams, subcontractors, etc.)
and aligning their activities across multiple types of projects while adjusting schedules to meet deadlines and project milestones.
* Quality Assurance and Compliance: The site manager ensures that all work across commercial, residential, and pharmaceutical projects meets the necessary standards.
For each sector, this could mean different regulatory compliance (e.g., safety, building codes for residential; clean room standards for pharma).
They conduct frequent site inspections to verify that quality standards are met and that the work aligns with both design specifications and industry regulations.

Environmental Management:
Overseeing safety is a priority on any construction project, but particularly in environments like pharmaceutical facilities where contamination risks or hazardous materials might be involved.
The site manager implements safety protocols, conducts regular safety audits, ensures the team adheres to health and safety regulations, and mitigates risks by maintaining a safe working environment across all sectors.
* Resource and
Budget Management:
Managing project resources effectively is essential for keeping projects on track and within budget.
The site manager ensures that materials, labour, and equipment are available when needed and in the right quantities.
They also track project costs, control expenditures, and work with the financial team to ensure that projects stay within their allocated budgets.
* Stakeholder and
Client Communication:
The site manager serves as the key point of contact between the client, contractors, and other stakeholders (including regulatory bodies in the case of pharmaceutical projects).
They provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns promptly, and ensure that clients' needs are being met.
In pharmaceutical projects, communication with stakeholders might include ensuring compliance with strict regulatory requirements and coordinating with health and safety officers.
