About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Director this role will suit a candidate looking to gain commercial experience in the wealth management sector. The main responsibilities will include organising the communication and proposition activities of the department, in conjunction with channel leaders, into one cohesive plan and managing it all to the highest risk and compliance standards.
The multi-disciplinary role will require the successful candidate to work with team members and internal stakeholders, requiring commercial acumen and organisation skills with a good knowledge of Davy Select channels and products. The most important things are attitude, humility, resilience and the ability to work as part of a team that works with all our colleagues across Davy.
The Commercial Executive will support the departments’ execution of commercial and communication plans including:
In the role, the successful candidate will support the departments’ execution of commercial and communication plans including:
Organisation and Ownership of communications;
1. Client and intermediary client communications.
2. Review of existing marketing & digital client journey
3. Periodic reviews of all publicly available Davy Select documents
4. Content management for Davy Select website.
5. Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.
Proposition Improvement;
6. Co-ordination and project participation of proposition improvement initiatives for all channels with particular emphasis on D2C channel.
7. Participation in Business Change & Quality projects as required.
Marketing & Research;
8. Acting as the link between Davy Select and the Davy Marketing dept in relation to all aspects of Davy Select events, collateral, WM campaigns.
9. Market research and competitor analysis reporting as required.
10. Commercial MI- development and delivery of monthly commercial KPI report
11. Social media monitoring and interaction
12. Implementation of NPS/Voice of client surveys across the dept
Commercial CRM;
13. Management of the communication process for Intermediary contractual documentation
14. Implementation of CRM database with Intermediary firms and employee data.
15. Working with the Head of Intermediary Business to manage the intermediary register and all associated register communication.
Requirements
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
16. Self-starter who is motivated with high energy and an excellent team ethic and a great attitude
17. Relevant qualification: Business/Marketing/Communications and QFA
18. Knowledge of and experience in the retail Wealth Management sector, in a commercial business unit is desirable
19. Marketing and/or Communications experience is desirable
20. Extremely organised and an ability to prioritise high value-added tasks.
21. Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
22. Communication, relationship management and presentation skills.
23. Willingness to work as part of multi-functional teams.
24. Strong understanding of professional ethics and regulatory environment.
