Your new role as Policy Advisor will play a key role in advancing policy and law reform initiatives on matters reflective of the public interest and support duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting research and drafting evidence-based policy papers on priority topics
* Developing proposals for law reform underpinned by credible arguments
* Monitoring external developments and playing a key role in advancing specific policy issues
* Forging a strong working relationship with members of Committees and engaging with policymakers and stakeholders

Requirements:
* Recent relevant experience in a similar policy-related role
* A third-level qualification in law, business or similar
* At least two years of experience in public affairs, policy development or as a political advisor/Parliamentary Assistant
* Strong understanding of policy development and legislative processes in Ireland and the European Union
