The EMEA Customs Brokerage team is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure equipment necessary to support the services are imported/exported on time, on right cost and compliantly across the multiple countries where AWS operates and will expand.
The position is based Dublin with a hybrid work set-up.
Key job responsibilities
Oversee brokerage operations for import and export activities.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address and prevent customs clearance problems.
Develop and deploy operational optimisation solutions.
Manage brokerage service fee and customs D&T payments
Drive country compliance research activities with vendors
Retrieve import documentation for audits and address document retention exemptions with customs brokers
Generate and present weekly Customs Brokerage KPI metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ year experience in Customs Operations
• 2+ years of direct experience handling imports and/or exports Customs clearance operations and escalations in EMEA Region
• Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word)
• Must be organized, self-starter and pay attention to detail
