Introduction
The Football Pathways Plan (FPP) is the overarching strategy for the development of Football in Ireland. As part of the FPP and LOI Academy Mark, the Academies within League of Ireland football clubs will undergo a process of evaluation. This evaluation process will be based on a combination of spend, infrastructure, productivity and qualitative assessments of their provisions across a range of multidisciplinary areas.
The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for the communication and liaison with all key stakeholders in facilitating and supporting the delivery of an efficient and professional audit process. The role will also involve supporting the LOI Academy programme on a weekly basis as well as other ad hoc administrative duties. Some of the key relationships within this role are League of Ireland Clubs, National League Committee and Appointed Academy Audit.
The Role:
Manage all fundamental logistics and operations on behalf of the LOI Academy Development
Managing, organising and facilitating club audits.
Supporting the end-to-end auditing/quality assurance process, ensuring the operation runs as smoothly as possible for both club and auditing teams.
Oversee and manage the facilitation and organisation of the club action plan, submission and review process.
General Responsibilities:
Notify clubs of their Audit visits, with follow up correspondence.
Attend site visits as and when required across multiple locations
Effectively communicate with clubs to ensure outstanding Action Plans are tracked and completed.
Communicate with the LOI Academy Development Manager regarding the organisation and submission of Club Action Plans.
Maintain and update the audit schedule, liaising with the relevant club staff.
Support the report process regarding quality assurance, ensuring timelines are met regarding audit report distribution.
Attending meetings as required, taking detailed minutes of each meeting.
Other duties assigned to the individual from time to time as part of the LOI Academy Development Programme

The successful candidate will have the following:
Qualifications
A third level qualification is desirable or relevant work experience
Experience
Experience of working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Experience as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Experience in supporting a team through administration work
Experience of communicating with relevant external agencies to produce travel itineraries.
Experience in managing travel/accommodation/meeting room booking requirements as required
Experience of managing multiple correspondence.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong IT skills; proficient with Microsoft Office suite
Proven ability to handle confidential information and exercise discretion
Observational analysis and ability to interpret various data
Strong communication skills, ensuring communication is clear and concise
Ability to think strategically .
Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast past environment
Strong time management and organisational skills
Knowledge:
Knowledge of professional sports performance or development, preferably in an Irish football context
Understand and appreciate context and development stages of LOI clubs and their academies
Proof-reading and the ability to check report for accuracy and grammar
