We are looking for an External Sales Engineer (Water / Wastewater) to join our team in Endress+Hauser Ireland, driving business growth in the Water & Wastewater industry. Which tasks will you perform?
As our External Sales Engineer, you will:
Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth in line with our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Identify new business opportunities within the Water & Wastewater industry and build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Oversee projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, upholding our reputation for excellence.
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Present proposals and reports to senior management that reflect our focus on high-quality service and client success.
Collaborate with our Service Team to ensure clients experience seamless, comprehensive support from Endress+Hauser.
Participate in industry events, trade shows, and seminars to promote our solutions and stay connected to the latest developments.
Keep our CRM system accurate and up to date, ensuring smooth operations and client communications.
Support your colleagues, contributing to a team that values openness, knowledge-sharing, and clear communication.
What do we expect from you?
You bring:
A Level 7 or higher qualification in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience in business development, sales, or project management within the Water / Wastewater industry.
In-depth knowledge of this sector, including regulations and market trends.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to connect with clients and teammates alike.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to high-quality work and integrity.
