Role And Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
1. Liaise with Project Manager/Site Manager on all matters.
2. Manage site staff and all contractors.
3. Propose suitable changes to design to improve savings, ease construction programme, enhance specification, and ensure quality completion.
4. Be commercially minded and work with the project team, including the QS, to manage the project and meet the company objectives for each project.
5. Monitor construction regarding quality of workmanship and materials.
6. Co-ordinate and liaise with contracts manager, Site Engineers, and services Co-ordinator to ensure that all subcontractors and site personnel have timely and accurate information.
7. Maintain and manage site teams and subcontractors.
8. Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practice.
9. Check and understand all drawings and specifications. Ensure that any errors/omissions are formally communicated to the design team in a timely manner.
10. Establish project resource requirements and assist the project team as required.
11. Implement onsite SHEQ procedures and support SHEQ with implementing those procedures.
12. Report to the project management team and provide weekly/monthly updates on programme and subcontractors.
